If you are a prospective Fairfield University student or have enrolled and are eagerly waiting to start your freshman year, we want to welcome you to our Fairfield University Dance Ensemble website! We were in your place once too -- researching each school's dance program, stalking social media sites, trying to get a feel for an entire dance program from just a few pictures... We know it can be tough to experience a dance family through a phone, so we are here to tell you exactly what you can do to begin to understand what it means to be a member of FUDE.

If you are interested in joining FUDE for the 2024-2025 year, please fill out the form linked below. This will give us an idea of how many dancers we will be auditioning, but most importantly, it will serve as a virtual introduction!

ACTIVITIES FAIR

The Activities Fair is a chance for all students to get aquatinted with the clubs on campus. FUDE will have a table. Please attend and show your interest if you are planning on joining us for auditions.

FUDE AUDITIONS - ALL STYLES

If you are a returning FUDE member that is not a senior, or a prospective FUDE member, you must attend auditions in order to be considered for any style.

Sunday, September 15th

DANCE CLASSES START

Dance classes with start on Sunday the 15th with Monday classes. Sunday the 24th will be the first Sunday dance classes. From then on, dance classes will be held every M, W, Sun.

FUDE MENTORING PROGRAM

Our FUDE mentoring program is a way for new FUDE dancers to have an upperclassman that they can use as a resource for all things FUDE and all things Fairfield University! After auditions, we will match you each with a dancer in similar styles and with a similar major. Freshman will be paired with a junior and new sophomores will be paired with a senior. You will be able to exchange phone numbers, get coffee and learn a little more about what its like to be a student dancer at Fairfield U. More information about this program will be shared via email or GroupMe after auditions.
